Cody run has been fine why you guys forcing narratives

I can't tell.

Like there has no no reward for me as a viewer watching wwe with cody.
Just like when cody was on rhe Indies. Same lackluster low workrate inring. Plus it is even further neutered by the son in law. Try8ng to make it. So no new stars are really made. That can surpass rhe son in laws buy rates and gates as a performer. Thus keeping power and always looking like this ol school hold over from the last boom. Where said performer singlehandidly ruined the boom via nepotism. As well as ruined the wwe reset value of mania as well.

But there hasn't even been any breadcrumbs except KO, Randy's eventual heel turn which is super on the nose, and Gunther who was literally forced on him for Crown Jewel.

McIntyre has a win over Cody and at worst he's a credible main eventer.
Oba Femi is the rare talent who can be a main eventer type guy in his rookie year.

Finn Balor has lost complete credibility as a main eventer by eating way too many pins.

I don't want to see Punk turn full heel against Cody unless he actually wins the title.
The well has ran dry between Cody and Seth. Nobody wants any combination of Seth/Cody.

To be fair, there's a plausibly interesting student surpassing the master story they could do but probably wouldn't make it work.

Heel Randy as champion, Cody keeps on losing a rematch or two because he can't keep up with the combination of one of the most natural wrestlers ever along with an arsenal of dirty tricks. Perhaps Cody is even suspicious Hunter or Aldis are in cahoots with Randy.

And Cody would have to learn to overcome all of that while remaining babyface , surpass Randy and regain the WWE title.
