My issue with the American commentary is the misuse of American sports terminology within soccer e.g.

Shutout = cleansheet
on the break = on the counter
hail mary = ??

Makes no sense. Just sounds poor.

Also, the commentary for that Nigerian game was mad

We know what they mean, yes, but it's just not the right terminology.

There have been many things that are poor about the American commentary but this is silly nitpicking. A shutout is a fukking shutout.
