Outside of Spain v Portugal, this World Cup has been low quality so far
First round is always cagey as no one wants to lose the opening game. The second round is when the fun starts and the final game of group all being played in the same time usually has the best matches of the tournament.

You expecting too much from the group games especially in the first round of matches. Group stages, generally don't pick up till round 3, as teams are fighting to go thru.
Spain and Portugal only went all out because whoever won that game topped the group, if them both beating Morocco and Iran goes to plan

You have the pace to cause Ze Germans problems, as their squad is kinda one paced, aside from Reus and Werner. But when I watched you lot vs Wales and Scotland was it? I know you played at least one of them, you'll missed far too many chances and you cannot do that vs Ze Germans. If you can frustrated them and not let them score early, there is a chance.
