The less said about Nigeria the better.

The most impressive team today was Peru. I’m rooting for them against France I don’t think I’ve ever seen an eye-pleasing full 90 minutes in a tournament from France under Deschamps ever.

the nigerian kit is great, but i wasn't expecting them to do anything. the star players for nigeria all have roles in the national team that far exceed their abilities and roles with their club teams. jon obi as anything other than a barely passable water carrier is a joke. moses' career at the top level was only resuscitated after he was downgraded from a winger to a wingback. i don't know if iwobi will ever be anything more than a squad player at the top level, he better hope unai emery has some tricks up his sleeve and proves us wrong. nigeria should have a nigerian coach. at this stage in their national football development they should be developing coaches pretty easily. it's embarrassing to have washed up european mercenary coaches who are only known for managing african teams because it's a good hustle, you're nigeria, not niger.

anyway, closest thing to an elite black team in this world cup.

Nigeria were overhyped because they had the only non generic jersey at this world cup. Seriously what's up with that? With soccer influencing fashion so much Nike & Adidas have done a terrible job with most of these jerseys. Good thing I didn't cop. Croatians bullied the shyt out of Nigeria in the first half second half was a cake walk.

Also Messi is a choker
