that logic only applies if you don't have VAR and the ref has to make a snap decision, then yeah i would agree that he should go with his first instinct. but there was nothing 50/50 about that handball after replay. you can clearly see he knew what he was doing and moved his hand towards the ball.
Dude its not a penalty. His sight was blocked and dude in front of him got a touch on the ball and Perisic just had a instinctive reaction

Mans don't know the saying in France that is "la chatte à Dédé" which means "Deschamps' luck" as "p*ssy" means "luck" in that context. We have one shot on target and two goals. Inzaghi style :russ:

Yup, Pavard is our weak link (even got Mbappé tracking down) but what's annoying me is that we're not clearing crosses properly. Perisic goal came after 3 lost consecutive aerials duals like come on. Against Uruguay we were good at it (baring that huge change in the first half), same against Belgium but today it's trash level. Credits to Croatia obviously because they playing far better than us but we're not playing well at all, which is worrying. We're defending as a 442 and still allowing crosses. I'd say play the super narrow 433 we played against Belgium so we can free Mbappé for the counters. He's far too deep in the current configuration to even be a threat in counters.

There were about 3 or 4 times during the half where I was screaming for them to clear balls they were fukking around with in the box, so yeah, they've been quite a bit sloppier than they were in previous matches. It's real annoying.

Agreed on Mbappe. He's having the Messi problem at this point (and seems to be getting keyed on by 2-3 defenders whenever he touches the ball, also a Messi problem), so it's not surprising he hasn't had much impact on the game so far. It'll be interesting to see if they change things up like you say to free him up in attack.

According to what does it need to be a CLEAR penalty? This is literally FIFA's VAR ruling, so whose rules are you referring to? Show us the exact rule.
Don't bother...

Probably one of those salty English retards in this thread a few weeks ago calling Kane the best 9 in world...:mjlol:

yeah an instinctive reaction to slap the ball. not much different than any other handball.
