Yall really need to put some respek on the 2000's English squad. The amount of disrespect is mind blowing.

I know you hate the English media but to call them average just because they didn't have a clean walk to the semi's like this English team? :hhh:

Scoles was around . . . He was played at left wing wing or not at all by them clowns to fit in Gerrard and Lampard at CM

The real problem was insisting on picking 2 strikers always, with two wingers.

Could have gone with 3 centre midfielders, 2 wingers and a lone striker

Goon Squad - Catset
Non-casuals know Kante's easily been France's best player. Even most of the French roster agrees but Mbappe getting all the hype for one great game against a terrible Argentinian team.
its cause no casual can identify the impact a defensive mid has on a game. its way easier for them to see goals and get hyped

they had good talent but like someone said earlier they never really worked as a team together that well. and when you compared them to the other squads talent level at the same time as them (france, italy, portgual) they really werent seeing them.
those 02 and 06 teams were better than this years one though.

Well not really. There actually has not been any French best player this tournament as Lloris, Varane, Kanté, Pogba have all been very consistent in the first 6 games. But :king: Kylian has had the highest peaks (Argentina and Belgium).

Without Lloris decisive saves against Uruguay or Belgium, we wouldn't be there. Without Varane rock solid appearances since the start we would have concede a couple more of goals/chances, without Pogba dictacting the pace and surging through the midfield, we would not have. And without Kylian's pace and creativity, we would have put less fear in the opponents (who would be scared of our counter with Giroud-Grizou upfront alone ?). You may hate the hype but it's totally legit as King Kylian is nuclear dissuasion. With him, you can basically prevent any team to play a high line because it's inevitable that he will get behind or brutalize the back line or the opposite left side with dribbles.

Argentina was proof enough, Belgium too as he killed it there too (he could have had 2 or 3 assists). The thing you may overlook is even though he can play on the wings, Mbappé is a 9 and the only reason, Giroud starts instead of him is because of seniority and it's Deschamps' strategy. Mbappé is R9 reincarnated (instincts, pace, dribbling, finishing), there's many similarities between him right now and PSV R9, look it up. Oh and get on the bandwagon now, it's leaving :umad:

No they don't. Are you insane? Have you ever been to Paris? How can they have "superiority complex" when most of their uncles and aunties live in West Africa?

More French than African....LOL You've gotta be fcking kidding me. Most of these kids never experience "French" culture. St. Denis, Barbers, Clichy Sous-Bois, etc are almost 100% African suburbs.

:umad:

I lived in Paris for 10 years... in 19ème arrondissement, in Aubervilleurs, in Saint Ouen and Chatillon.

My family is full of kids born in France. I know about this more than you.

You don't seem to know very much based on that crap you wrote earlier.

No I just wrote stuff you don't know about. :yeshrug:

The relation between the african diaspora, especially those born in Europe, and Africa is very complex. I'll let you cook tho.

Good game.

I pray that France win today, Croatia have been the most dogged team this tournament and will make themselves hard to beat but the French still have the quality to beat them comfortably. I just hope that Giroud doesn't start as his lack of pace may thwart their counterattacks.
