No, cisgender means that you identify with the gender you were born as. You were born a male and still identify as a male, or you were born a female and still identify as a female.

You can be cisgender and also be gay (for example, a gay man or a lesbian woman).

It's honestly not that complicated. I think people just play dumb.

Cisgender is the default. It's probably about 85% of people.

Transgender are the people who always felt uncomfortable in gendered clothing, didn't like their name and didn't like their appearance and changed it to be more of the gender they want to be.

Non binary are the people who can't settle on either and decide to try to be as neutral as possible. They choose unisex names and try to wear gender neutral clothes. Whenever possible they look for private bathrooms instead of going to male or female.

None of this shyt is nearly as important as a lot of pundits and mentally ill people who make their gender or sexual interests into their whole personality would have you believe.
