Their adult versions kinda held the film back. If they were never introduced it would be a lot better

Watching this movie now. I was going to make a post about how “drunk” Taye Diggs takes points away from the movie. Such horrible acting lol. Richard T Jones did a good job and was funny… the kids carried the whole damn movie though. I do wonder how it would’ve gone if they kept it focused on the kids in middle and high school. One of my favorite interactions in the whole movie was Mike talking to his mom when she ceught him dancing in the living room. That was such a heartwarming moment. L Also the Mike and Stacey character development. This is one of my all time favorite movies
