wow none of the favorites are really looking strong and there's been a few shock performances. I still think Germany Women will most likely win it though

I think that Japan so far has looked the strongest due to their overall depth and quickness of the team and that it's really hard to generate offense against this team as they defend really well. Germany can score, no doubt, but I think if Germany and Japan were to meet, I feel that Japan would hand them another L.

Wow! Equalizer in the final minutes for Costa Rica. This team is fighting until its last breath.

And that is game! What a good game. Costa Rica had more opportunities and were the aggressor in this second half which resulted in an equalizer. Very interesting day in World Cup matches.

I'm also noticing a theme going here, the teams that have the least amount of shots, are winning the matches due to their small amount of quality shots on goal. It's all about being able to set up the opportunity to put yourself in the best position to take a high percentage shot. This is shaping up to be a great World Cup so far.

haha well hopefully the germans go out and you have an easy route to the cup

I'll be following the score but don't expect England to win, maybe a draw hopefully theres a few goals
Don't root for the u.s., breh, we don't wanna see those spastic cacs happy. Whenever they lose to a CAF team, the racism pours out on social media.

Watched some of the matches today. No surprises this time around as Germany is looking really strong. China has been a surprise for me. Canada on the other hand is a little meh. They aren't really playing their best soccer right now so I expect them to turn up in this next round.

I'm looking forward to the U.S. vs. Nigeria match. This could be a dangerous one for the U.S. as they have all the talent but they're playing against a team that has some serious speed. I expect the U.S. to attack quickly to establish their high octane offense. And...I want to see Alex Morgan start, but it's not going to happen. She's 100% but not in 90 minute shape if that makes sense. I just feel like if you have one the best players in the world whom is ready to go, why keep her on the bench for 75% of the game? But, yeah, the U.S. can't afford to be lackadaisical here or else they'll end up like France vs. Colombia.

So torn.

I wanted Nigeria to go through, but not at the expense of the US. Loser most likely goes home unless there's some fukkeration that happens during Sweden/Australia. Nigeria needs a lot to happen.

No one thought that the USMNT would make up the goal differential during the 2009 CONFED Cup either.
