I was expecting the USA to have a tough time generating offense against this Sweden team due to Pia knowing this USA team inside and out. Once again, Hope is proving why she's the best female goal keeper in the world.

Man, I wish Alex Morgan could've started early so that some offense could be generated but it seems that she still has some rust on her so the coach is bringing her in during the final stretches. USA just haven't been able to have a lot of good scoring opportunities today.

Welp, that is game. Not surprised at the result. I think that the USA aren't in peak condition yet as they're playing a little tentative and unable to really attack hard. I think once they advance past the Group stage, I expect to see them in full form as they're just getting a feel for different rotations right. I also expect Alex Morgan to be starting and not on the bench. You can't have your best player sitting on the bench majority of the time and expect to win.

Watching a bit of the Japan vs. Cameroon match. Japan is a scary team to play due to the overall quickness of team and that their passing is really good.
