In cases like this these hollywood folks have horrible crisis management. I will give it to these athletes they get in so much trouble their lawyers and teams usually do a better job in handling situations like this with the media. But they aren't insulated by hollywood like stars (who can just ignore the issue cause everyone will pat them on the back) and they also have leagues and owners giving them advice and running interference. But a star like Will also has studios who can assist him with this issue.

Will should set up a outside lunch at a restaurant with just him and Chris laughing it up and let the Paparazzi film them like it’s just a candid causal shot. It would immediately take the firepower away from these cacs. If afterwards they’re still on their bullshyt, the narrative becomes why do they feel entitled to revenge when the victim as moved on, it shows that the truth, that it’s about something else as they invalidate Rocks feelings.
