In the 90s and 2000s, people stayed with fresh cuts and styles in LA. I think something changed in the 2010s. I went to a party last year and dudes had on shorts that stopped above their knees. New generation experimenting with their own styles I guess.

Being from the Bay, I’ll say this, nikkas will let anyone cut they hair out there. One of the only places nikkas will let nonblacks touch they shyt. That being said, some of people with the freshest cuts in Northern Cali ain’t black...

I remember back in like 2011 during my older brothers college graduation. One of his friends had his younger brothers from out west fly out. Dudes were arguing us down about how vans and skate board shoes (not sb dunks) were fresher than Jordans.I got love for all my westcoast nikkaz

When i moved to california and when i was looking for a black barber. He was the only black barber in a mexican shop. It was a sunday evening and was the only shop open. He kept leaving in the middle of the cut too and at the end he told me to pay in another room where there was a salon
i wanted to fight that nikka. He fukked my head up.
