Those 3 mixtapes had some of the realest songs. But if you are looking to Weeknd for more of a pop vibe, Starboy has to be the choice. After Melancholy EP came out and it had one good song, I really respect how consistent the sound of Starboy was, and how there was really only one clunker and then 3 weak-ish songs. Which is good for a pop album like that...

I feel like he added and expanded what he had done on Trilogy with Starboy and Melancholy. Kissland was a continuation in terms of what he did on Trilogy, Beauty was trash.

interesting how you think BBTM is trash... the 2nd half of Acquainted makes it a 7/10 album alone... then you have often the hills cfmf... i do think the writing on that album was a little weak compared to KissLand which i think is his best in terms of just songwriting
