This was the first time I heard the hills. I've heard earned it and feel my face a couple times but otherwise everything on here is new to me. Makes a big difference.
This is such a silly argument. Beach House been making the same album for like 7 years and still routinely gain critical acclaim. If the music is good doesn't matter how "samey" it is

He seems to have been around long enough that the uppity music folk are chiming in. The faux singing that seems to have been prevalent over the last number of years has always pissed me off. It's good to hear a proper R&B album, I think he nailed it w/ this one, even w/ the "pop" feel.
I like about half the album....didn't expect for him to have so much lyrics on here. I was accustomed to a few bars here and there and then the beat breakdown in the middle of the song type of format..This is ok. Maybe I need some more listens. I like Kissland way more than this.
