Waking up, half past five
Blood on pillow and one bruised eye
Drunk too much, you know what I'm like
But you should've seen the other guy

Only losers go to school
They can't teach what they can't prove
Can't put this inside a test tube
Cos stupid's next to I love you

:dead: corny
Song is ass cheeks

A song you'll be hearing all over the radio in the future.

On my 3rd spin. I fukks with the album, but then, I knew going in that it was gonna be different. High point for me is definitely the Often ---> The Hills ---> Acquainted run. Songs with Sheeran and Del Ray are dope to me. As You Are is dope. Tell your Friends is dope. Angel is dope. I don't care for I Can't Feel My Face all that much, and In The Night is in that same boat, but I understand why they're there.

All in all, I'm not mad. We knew what he was aiming for, and the album is still very listenable, atleast to me. I can understand ppl not feeling the direction, and therefore not liking the album, but I can't understand the ppl that expected Trilogy-type music when he's clearly been moving in this particular direction for a minute now.

Just finished listening, and I can see why it's title what it is. Beautiful fukking album. I always look at The Weeknd as a Shakespearean like tragic character. You see the dark path that said character is on, and you know that their demise is all but imminent due to the life that they lead, but still as a spectator, a reader, an observer, you're rooting for a different outcome to the story.... This album is his proverbial light to his previous albums dark days.

If you're expecting 'in your face' blatant vulgarity throughout the album like his previous works, well then you're bound to be disappointed. Instead, a lot of the douche baggery, and vulgarity is much more subtle and hidden underneath whole stories in which he's telling. There's a lot more organization to the madness....

The only songs that I can honestly say that I don't really care for is "Losers" and "Dark Times", two songs by which have features that I don't like - no fault to Abel. He did his thing on both tracks :ehh:.

I give this album a solid 4/5. He OFFICIALLY deaded that "all of his music sound the same" talk with this one.

I can't wait till he roll through the Chi for 'The Madness' tour. This is stadium music. In the meantime, I'll be buying 3 copies come the 28th.
