Almost done. On first listen it isnt perfect,couple misssteps with the production but overall very solid.
Songs like tell your friends and shameless feel like natural progression and are fukking great. If all you want from weeknd is hob over and over this isnt for you. This album definitely is more pop than his earlier work.
Same people that been saying hes wack for months are the same people pretending theyre dissapointed with the album.
On first listen Im giving it a 8/10. But that could go up or down on repeated listens.
This is some sellout BS, huh? I knew it would be.

nikka the blending between Adaptation/Love In The Sky/Belong To The World. Seriously, that 3 song block is just as good as anything I think I've ever heard in the R&B genre. I mean the storm starts with the clap of thunder at the end of Love In The Sky and as he does the breakdown at the end the storm picks up, rolls right into Belong To The World. Seriously genius stuff right there
Do you consider cant feel my face to be sell out? Thats the most pop song on here. Hes still rocking the same subject matter. Hes not doing love ballads.
Production is just more polished and tight rather than the raw,ethereal stuff from trilogy.
