The "We created a great villian, so let's underutilize him like a bytch" film thread

Seriously my biggest pet peeve in movies. They have this legit badass villian and then never give him proper screen time. I realize this is personal preference and some of you like barely seeing the bad guy because it adds to his mystery. But yeah these examples really get me heated:

Darth Maul: He had a long battle at the end but this heavily flawed film could have used more scenes of him.

Christoph Waltz in Spectre: This actor is just so good I can't get enough of him in villian roles

Mickey Rourke in Iron Man 2: This one really pisses me off. They could have cut a few minutes of lame jokes about his bird and maybe not had him get taken by Iron Man in two seconds in the final battle.

Honestly Darth Maul should have been a threat and used throughout Episodes 1, 2 and 3 and toss General Grievous in the bushes

Look at how much bane was compared to the joker for example

Magneto. I know he's not necessarily a villian but I wish we could have gotten him as a real mutant supremacist. The only film that he was really a villian was the first X-Men but he had that lame ass plot. Now they got him as one of Apocalypse's lackeys?!
