Nobody treats Moody as a threat from behind the arc, he’s not the best moving without the ball, he has a slow set shot and he can’t defend guards.

Moody would be playable in more lineups if Jimmy could shoot 3s, but since he and Dray can’t, and you’ve got Post (who’s in the early stages of his development) and Looney (who can’t shoot, at all), you need someone else on the floor who can open it up.

And that’s not counting the lineups in which Steph isn’t in. They essentially need Hield on the floor during that time. He’d barely see the floor now if Melton never got injured.

They could do center by committee. Each of their bigs has a different skillset. Loon (rebounding), TJD (rim protection and alley oops), Post (3s), and Dray (defense and playmaking).

Maybe not ideal, but it's been done before.
