No spoilers but for those of you who read the comics did they ever find out "why" people were turning to zombies? Like what was the initial thing that originally caused it?

I refuse to read the comics for fear of spoilers and don't say there aren't any. I don't care if they change up scenarios n shyt the fact remains that the same characters are being introduced and most of the same events are being pulled from the comic so miss me with that. I'll read the comic after the series finale airs and the show is over with.

actually, that's not true. You can't be spoiled when the outcomes are completely different. The shyt that happens in the comic at the prison ain't never gonna be shown on TV. Even the shyt leading up to what happens in the comic is impossible because the roster is mostly different.

No, there was no going to the CDC or anything like that.

Yeah. Rick had an idea that everyone was infected whether or not try were bit. So he went back a couple days by himself on a motorcycle ride back to where they buried Shane. Dug him up and found out he was reanimated.

Breh. So much shyt from the comic, and some great moments like that were cut out of the show

They see me trolling, they hating.....
Actually they aren't. Same locations but there are totally different characters and outcomes. Dales death in the comic was amazing compared to how they fukked it up on the show and he didn't die until much later when they were in the prison. I know you don't want to get hooked but if you think you can handle it you should read up until chapter 25

u don't understand do you?

:stopitslime:

regardless of all the bullshyt the rest of u guys are saying the fact remains that U KNEW THE nikka DALE WOULD DIE.

that's not a spoiler to u?
:aicmon:

Dales death was a shock to me when it happened bro, So I woulda been mad as fuk if I read the comic and seen it coming. fukk the comic until the series is over :pacspit:

:dwillhuh:

no we didn't. Sophia died on the show, in the comics she's still alive. T-Dog, Merle & Daryl don't even exist in the comic. In the comics Amy & Andrea are rumored
to be fukking Dale and Andrea even goes on to have a relationship with the nikka. They eventually end up having to help raise Allen & Donna's two boys Ben and Billy after they both died. Ben & Billy eventually die as well. You probably sittin there like :dwillhuh: because that's an entire family that's not even in the goddamn tv show.

Two nearly completely different stories. The comic is not a blueprint or a guide for the show in terms of who to kill and who to keep alive, because there are a lot of characters that just don't overlap.

and FYI, I started off with the show and started reading the comic and every twist and turn surprised me in the comic because I didn't see them coming so I know that's how it is in the opposite direction. Dale's death would have taken you by surprise whether you read the comic or not

Another thing.......Shane died so early in the comic that in the show you figure they just gonna keep the nikka alive. And then they kill him in the season finale like
:ohlawd:

Forget "The Walking Dead" -- the Driving Bombed might be the bigger danger.

"Walking Dead" actor Scott Wilson, who plays alcoholic farmer Hershel Greene on AMC's hit zombie drama, is facing DUI charges after being arrested last week, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Wilson, 70, was pulled over at 2 a.m. on Aug. 18 by Peachtree City, Ga., police after they observed his black PT Cruiser traveling at about 70 miles per hour -- "well above the posted speed limit" for the area, according to officials. Police also noted that his car "swerved back and forth" several times.

Upon being pulled over, Wilson -- whose acting credits also include "The Great Gatsby" and "In Cold Blood" -- admitted that he'd had scotch and wine at Founders Restaurant & Bar in nearby Senoia.

Wilson was administered field sobriety tests, which he failed. The actor complained to police that the roadway was too "slanted" and offered to perform "yoga moves" in lieu of the traditional tests, according to the paper.

A breathalyzer test administered at the scene put Wilson's blood alcohol concentration at 0.143, well above the legal limit of .08, while tests at the Fayette County, Ga. jail where Wilson was booked registered a 0.151 and 0.155, the paper said.

Police were initially alerted to Wilson by an anonymous tipster who reported a possibly impaired driver.
