I'm not saying that Rhodes wasn't good but ... look at it this way. Emmitt Smith is the NFL's all-time leading rusher and rushing touchdown scorer. But no one can convince me he was a better running back than Barry Sanders was, taking each player's apex form.

As a New England Patriot (2007-2012), Wes Welker caught more passes than any other player did during that timespan and had a legit statistical argument as the NFL's best receiver. That said, you couldn't convince me he was the best receiver on his own team (Randy Moss), let alone in the league at that time (Megatron, Brandon Marshall, etc.) taking each player's apex form.

I don't deny that Kerry Rhodes was a stat monster and one of the better safeties in the league at his peak. But at his apex, he was in no way, shape or form better than Sean Taylor at his apex.
Breh don't argue with that nole he just want to troll right now

That's my entire point. What if that 4th season or 1/2 a 4th season was his apex? Cats love playing the what if card when it pertains to ST. Hell, his tackle #'s were declining up until going into the 4th season

He had a career high in tackles (110, higher than Kerry Rhodes ever did) in his third season and was on pace for his second-highest stops in a single season to go along with a 10-INT year, if anything his tackles were ticking up from his first two seasons.

For reference, KR's best numbers for tackles was 105, in his rookie year. From that point, he basically declined in the category as his career progressed. But that's just stats.
