I love every album I have heard, its impossible to pick just one. I've been lurking on here for a while and you are by far the best poster on the board. You've taught me so much just from reading what you say. A true hip hop solider, anyone hating on you ain't hip hop straight up.Dope, yeah that's true lol. I regularly check for updates of new projects cause with him you're pretty much guaranteed to get some great and classic songs on every album, or a classic album on the whole, it's understandable how somebody could overlook a project, think 1 year he released like 3 or 4 albums lol. What's your favourite K-Rino album so far that you've heard? And dope, definitely let me know what you think when you hear it...

Thanks, appreciate that. And no worries, any help you need or anything just let me know.
Can you recommend me any other artists like k-rino?
Which would be correct
He played a major influence on some of the South's biggest & most influential rappers/groups
Bun B & Canibus list him as an influence.
3-6 Mafia cites his group SPC as one of their chief influences.
As well as several others like Z-Ro, Trae, Killer Mike, David Banner etc etc. etc.
No K-Rino/SPC and some of the shyt you hear in rap...might not even exist today.
One of the godfathers of this genre...which is part of the reason why he's the only hip-hop artist in his city (outside of Face & Geto Boys) in the Houston music hall of fame.
Cacs in the booth don't know shyt about rap
I notice K-Rino in this interview mentioned some of the things you spoke of, such as David Banner, Killer Mike and them...
Good look on this...K-Rino/SPC's music birthed & raised alot of real nikkas
Killer Mike named 3 out of my top 5 greatest southern rappers...as his as well...K-Rino, Skinny Pimp & Tommy Wright III
It's kind of hard to say cause K-Rino is quite a unique artist. But I will give you a few suggestions but with reasons for why, I know you will probably have heard of most of these but I will try to explain.
Nas, for concepts, Last Emperor for this reason too,.
Scarface/Geto Boys if you talk his very early work.
2 Pac for the content and heartfelt songs.
Brother Ali for the spirituality.
KRS-One is arguably the artist he's most similar to, in regards to the quantity of styles, knowledge, and a bunch of other shyt, I think K-Rino was quite inspired by KRS.
Canibus, Ras Kass, for being super lyricists.
Z-Ro said his main influence is K-Rino so Z-Ro, especially when it comes to that pain music.
Melle Mel for the power and poetic qualities.
Wise Intelligent for the subject matter and messages in a sense.
Jay Electronica again for a similar reason, they both are N.O.I, so some of their references are similar.
I realize you probably know most of these people, but these were just similar artists that came to mind. Not sure how much of their work you may have heard, for instance somebody like Last Emperor, but if you haven't heard everyone I mentions work then possibly would be a good idea to do that, if I think of any more I will let you know too...
