However, couldn't the bolded just as easily apply to an ideology that you subscribe to? I mean i don't look to hip-hop to uncover new perspectives on political/social issues.

I do get the impression, and I could be wrong, that a significant part of your beef with K-Rino (and I'm acknowledging that you have put forward reasonable critiques of the music itself) stems from his subject matter.

If I just wrote offbeat sentences stating my political ideology and made the end of bars rhyme, that wouldn't be impressive either.

His rhyming wasn't the only redeeming thing on the song, the flow, which you praised yourself, rhyming not sure what you are classing that as, as like the actual rhymes? That's certainly a dope thing, also redeeming is a poor word to use in my opinion. The lyrics, the concept, the humor, this descriptiveness, there are several positive attributes to the song. The thing i saw you critique mainly was the beat, personally I have no issues with it and feel it suited the song, but that's more of a preference thing. Lol What Goes Around is 1 of my favourite songs, I've mentioned it countless times on and off here, I even just said it's a CLASSIC song lol, I said 2 areas where I agreed in the superiority of the K-Rino song. It's not even an equal comparison really as they are 2 completely different songs, 1 is a concept story track, the other 1 is more a straight content filled track.

That's fine, that's perfectly reasonable, I haven't even thought about which 1 is better, I probably won't do either as it's a completely different kind of track, I imagine different people would have different preferences.

And no doubt, Nas is great, I actually had Nas above K-Rino for a very long time, but K-Rino just went on to release such a quantity of quantity I had to alter my list, was a bit surreal to me as such a huge Nas fan, even before I knew of K-Rino, but I had to be honest with myself and have an objective evaluation, they are both great to me, and as both are still active the positions could yet again switch dependent on future music.
