What's interesting is that Sony using that high-performance stance and excluding Nintendo may have put more eyes on them. I've always thought "high performance" was BS and Nintendo is a player, but that stance might backfire on them since senators are bringing up FF16 deal and Japan.

They'll still offer it just off the strength of it being an easy PR win. I've always seen COD as a security blanket like Minecraft for the rest of their first party studios to do whatever they want without having to be pressured into pushing microtransactions or forcing multiplayer or throwing gimmick cloud stuff into their game.

I think they still follow through on their public statements but they don’t sign a contract.

This does open the door for microsoft to use like exclsuive content or early access to sweeten the xbox version.

Xbox, abk and Bethesda....Gamepass is going to be absolutely nuts. This the future I can get behind. You looking at a AAA game potentially every 8 weeks in gamepass. That is absolutely insane
