Black-ish is a great show. Some of you nikkas are really programmed to associate struggle and degeneracy with black. That image of what black is has really influenced some of y'all. Positive black family and nikkas talking about the show isn't for African Americans but y'all love Empire, Power, and any other show that has black degeneracy in it. No hate on Power just using it as an example.
It's a good show, but in real life The family is an anomaly for black people in the usa. Check the poverty stats and lack of wealth. 228 years it would take us to reach the average white families wealth of today.

Most of these posters are white trolls. They are vested in promoting negative images of Black people :coffee:

All other bullshyt you posted aside, both those other shows had money. You can't relate to having bothers or sisters, parents that get on you for fukk ups, issues in school, different family matters, confusion about the opposite sex, getting a new car etc.

It's what you look up to/ strive to be like (to a degree).

Black people always find a way to complain about positive images. On some "I can't relate" type shyt. Like everything you watch/engage in perfectly aligns with your current living situations.

Homie-:gladbron:Let's go see that new x-man movie.
You-:hubie:I cant relate.

So the fukk what, your pops ain't have new kicks.:what:

Yeah, both Bernie and Michael Kyle were loaded. In one of the early MWAK episodes, one of the kids asked Michael for money for something and he didn't want to give it to them. Then they said, "Why not? We can afford it, we've got money" and he responded with, "No. I've got money. You don't."

That Charlotte Marilyn Manson guy has been making some suspect posts for a while now. I really think the thought of African-Americans being successful and making a good life for themselves against the odds has him waking up in cold sweats. Like he wakes up in the house one night and his wife's like:

"Baby, what's wrong?" :dwillhuh:

"I HAD A DREAM THAT I WAS THE BREADWINNER!" :scusthov: :damn:

well you're wrong.
that's the problem with americans.
Nah, you doing too much.
This is a troll thread.
I live here in YOUR COUNTRY.
Black people here are very "diet" and remind me of wiggers back home when they attempt cool. Ya'll whole identity based off of us and your parents, but you pop off?
Little "black Canadian" girl...
Ya'll are making less moves in an easier area to do so...with less competition and racism.
Black home ownership is only massed in one black town. North Preston, NS.
Tell me how the DESCENDANTS of Aframs outpacing voluntary immigrants in home ownership?
Oh.
Where are the sitcoms about black life in Canada? Nowhere.
Would we watch them if they existed?
No.
You in a troll thread about a show made for my people, answering a troll.
I'm in your country eating, even though this clown ass money couldn't buy me shyt at home, ol 75 cent to a dollar ass exchange rate.
Before media, we didn't even know y'all existed outside of OUR descendants who helped cacs fight wars, who then got ripped off.

I bet if the show was about a single mom, a dead beat unemployed dad, kids with teen pregnancy problems and young black males in and out of jail....some of you nikkas would be calling it the 'realest' show you ever seen and would be glued to the TV permanently on some :popcorn3:...and we wouldn't hear ONE complaint from anyone about it :mindblown:...and then yall get mad out the other side of your mouthes when white america' only portrays us one way...lol

I mean GOD FORBID the show has a married black couple, with education, normal kids, normal jobs living normal lives in a majority white setting. What were we all thinking.

Speak for yourself. My parents were as normal as they come....they graduated HS, got jobs, got married, combined their incomes and bought a house in an all black middle class neighborhood and sent their kids to college just as any white family you'd expect that from.

I expected a c00n fest too and I was quite surprised that it's actually good. One of the few shows on TV that's not afraid to go "there".

They even addressed c00ning & selling out with the Chris Brown episode.
No lie thats the problem with a lot of you *hood* nikkas IRL you see a nikka from the suburbs with his proper english and intellectual skillset and automatically think "ccon", man, I'm from the suburbs, we don't even be c00nin like that. You have no idea how many times me and my family stick up for poor blacks, only to turn around and get called white boy. It needs to stop
