The show is just like the Cosby Show...shyt that most can't relate to...shyt that most of us don't have...but it makes White people feel safe and it makes nikkas think they can make it...

"nikka I grew up working class/middle class and I can't even relate this shyt...my dad ain't had a pair of fresh Nikes in years...this nikka dad got every pair...this shyt is for real boujee ass nikkas..."

All other bullshyt you posted aside, both those other shows had money. You can't relate to having bothers or sisters, parents that get on you for fukk ups, issues in school, different family matters, confusion about the opposite sex, getting a new car etc.

It's what you look up to/ strive to be like (to a degree).

Black people always find a way to complain about positive images. On some "I can't relate" type shyt. Like everything you watch/engage in perfectly aligns with your current living situations.

Black-ish is a great show. Some of you nikkas are really programmed to associate struggle and degeneracy with black. That image of what black is has really influenced some of y'all. Positive black family and nikkas talking about the show isn't for African Americans but y'all love Empire, Power, and any other show that has black degeneracy in it.
