I think the Clips should definitely trade for KAT if he becomes available..........KAT is only 27 years old...So even if it doesn't work out there's going to be a handful of teams willing to trade for his services.
How? What assets do we have? Minny is a better team than we are right now.

The rumor going around is that Minny wants to trade KAT to avoid future tax....You wouldn't have to give up a lot of assets if Minny is trying to dump salary...However, Edward's new contract does not kick in until next season so I don't think Minny would wait until the offseason to trade him...A more realistic trade would be moving PG13 or Kawhi......But I'm not sure Ballmer wants to trade either player before the new arena opens up.

4 guys that need the ball in their hands was always going to be problematic.....

So there needs to be a serious division of minutes where they play together.....Ideally the art of time all 4 share the court at the same time shouldn't be more than 10 minutes tops

I think minny is more likely to keep kat if they're winning. The trade discussion was based on how gobert and him played together last season.

I don't think we have the matching salary to trade for kat without depleting the team further. We can get it done with Powell, Mann, Zubac, and Hyland. But adding kat to a team with those guys gone doesn't really improve us.

Some reporting that Ty Lue is not able to send Russ to the bench. I don't know if that's the solution but not having the option is bad. The starters were +3 tonight which is the first time they've had a positive net rating.

Kawhi looks tired. Probably should have won this game given that Jokic played average.

Kind of wonder if they purposefully did this so they could lowball Kawhi and pg in negotiations.

Everyone should probably be fired if this doesn't get respectable.

Need a backup big. Don't understand sending Kobe Brown to g league when we're lacking size.

They looked better tonight but they're still old slow and small. :manny:

Well "The System" is starting to work with the right lineups. Harden really does make PG and Kawhi's game a lot easier as they don't have to take turns going ISO for difficult shots all game long. It was the right play to make a Big 3 and move Russ to the bench. Plumlee might be regulated to the bench when he gets healthy if Theis has more of this in store. Mann is still doing all the little things that lead to victory but his offense has fallen off a cliff and nosedived. Hopefully he can turn it around soon. On another note, Wemby looked awful for the Spurs tonight. Good win nevertheless. Good to see a functioning offense again

You mean Zu? I think us having a competent back up big is a world of difference. Theis is a hustle-cardio all-star so he's going to try hard every night.

Edit: or I guess you mean Plum lost the backup big spot.

Yeah, that's correct. Hell, Twitter is already crying for Theis to start over Zu. I thought he was on the washed up side of things but he was out there doing everything possible for the team.

For whatever reason people hate Zu on Twitter. They were calling for Plumlee to start over him as we. He's solid -- doesn't have the best hands though.

Let's see theis do what he's doing over 9-10 games before we crown him or at least against a good tea.. Right now he's in the perfect role of playing fewer minutes so he can run.

In the last 10 games, the LA Clippers have the 2nd best defensive rating in the NBA ahead of teams like the Lakers, Timberwolves, and Celtics. They're only 0.1 DRTG points behind the OKC Thunder.

Looks like the Clippers have found their identity. A team that beats you offensively through ISOs with Kawhi Leonard, Paul George and James Harden (who can win their respective matches on any given night) and then punch you in the teeth with their defensive effort.

Offense is so much better with Harden and running it instead of Kawhi/PG ISO. Russ & Harden finally didn't share the court last night.

I wish they cut down on so much ISO especially playing in the West
use picks more effectively to get open shots
If they could sign like a Javale or somebody

I was at the game last night. Good to see that we're starting to turn the corner. Solid team effort, especially the execution late in the 4th. Keeping Zu on Jokic is the move and not small ball. All the stars contributed and I like the development of Kobe Brown instead of playing the washed PJ Tucker. Just need to somehow get Bones back into the rotation. I'l know we're making strides if we beat the Jazz in Utah on Friday
