Winnable series when they have been in war against g league squads. Clippers have zero answers for Book or KD. I love Kawhi but he just can't do it alone. Their role players are too inconsistent.
Suns been playing like sh*t tho. They haven't gelled at all since obtaining KD. Struggled against the G League Nuggets who sat all their players on Thursday. Lost their depth & a lot of defense trading away Bridges & Johnson. Outside of Book or KD getting hot I like our chances a lot in this series. A healthy & serging Kawhi will definitely have us lock & loaded. Russ is playing solid as well. Just need Zu, Norm, Mann, Bones, etc. to step up and we'll get the job done

Keys to Victory vs PHX

- Bench Production
- Limiting Turnovers
- Winning the 3 Point Battle

Book and KD are gonna do their thing but the Clippers really need to lean on their depth to overwhelm the Suns.

Clippers also need to embrace the small-ball tactics they used against the Jazz in the playoffs two years ago. Have Batum spend time at the 5 and force Ayton to guard the perimeter 3 pt line, just like they did with Gobert. I could see Ayton getting frustrated and getting emotional like he did last year against the Mavs.

Zubac needs more shots, 10-15 a game, he unlocks another level of the offense.

Key is the matchup of Devin booker vs clips rotating guards(Mann, Gordon, Norm, and bones). If 2 of the 4 can match booker, Clippers have an amazing shot.

KD vs Kawhi is a wash.

Can someone provide a detailed list of KDs shortcomings as a player?

I want to compare that to Kawhi. There are too many people that are saying KDs far and away the better player.

So far I got:
Physically weak
Not a great playmaker
Unwilling to shoot 35+ times if needed to win

He's a great HOF player he's just up in age at this stage of his career

I’ll always be Lakeshow to the death but I need to see Russ rock the baby next game :wow: . The Suns are punks and Russ will always be from the soil no matter what

I don't believe that KD is far and away the better player. Him being weak only really matters to the extent that he's punished for it. I think KD can be overly passive some games.
