Yeah I'm thinking less might be more for this team. Too much of a log jam with wings. And to think desperately needed any kind of wing help possible back during the Lob City era.Whenever trades are allowed to start & the trade deadline will sort things out
You’re right. Give roco some of Batum minutes he’s been off lately.Twins shot gas been fallin tho as of late. Too many guys that need minutes on this team. shyt I still want to see Boston, Diabate, and Moses Brown get some run somewhere. Doesn’t look like that's happening anytime soon tho. Not trippin, let's just keep improving and getting these wins
I don’t want to trade anyone right now.Whenever trades are allowed to start & the trade deadline will sort things out
He’s cleared to play again. Might not have his wind back though.Isn't he still sick?
It's the opposite problem now: Not enough guards or big menYeah I'm thinking less might be more for this team. Too much of a log jam with wings. And to think desperately needed any kind of wing help possible back during the Lob City era.
A decent backup for ZuWho do you guys want to see the team trade for?
I actually think Moses Brown and/or DIabate could fill the role of backing up Zu if given the opportunity from Lue. Really all we need is 10-15 minutes from one of these guys along with 3-5 rebounds and a dunk or two. Plus Lue loves his small ball lineups too. I know it was against a bad Rockets team but Moses was really solid and a bright spot when Zu got into foul trouble. In a trade I would actually like to see us get a first rounder in return if possible.Who do you guys want to see the team trade for?
I hope they keep him. But it kind of seems like he may be the odd man out right now.Do they ship Covington off? Or do they keep him for insurance purposes if/when Mook needs time off?
It hasn't been pretty but Paul is playing out of his mind right now. The path to victory is the team being able to win consistently without Kawhi and him putting us over the top like in Toronto. The record isn't great but it could be worse.
They need to be acting like anything he can give you is extra. It is what it is.Mannn this shyt is crazy
How are they saving Whi for the offs when this nikka has gotten hurt in 3 of the last playoffs he’s played in! To his credit he’s been outstanding in the offs since he’s become a major player for the most part but it doesn’t make sense. You can’t save him for the offs then expect him to put his body into overdrive come April and expect him not to get hurt. It’s pointless
Right on the heels of Windhorst saying he looked bad.Kawhi has been great since coming back
If the Clips are healthy to start the 'offs, they gotta stop with the playing down to the level of their opps in round 1. PG and the support gotta show up from jump. When Playoff Kawhi goes all out, he can only sustain it for a couple weeks before his knees go out. Yet back-to-back years, LAC needed him to go super sayian blue in the first round to avoid disaster. They need to be acting like anything he can give you is extra. It is what it is.
Facts but Luka was beast and is hard to take out period in the post season two straight years. We got the personal to handle him better now with the glut of wing players. PG is now showing up in the post season, the team just has to stay healthy. If the Clips are healthy to start the 'offs, they gotta stop with the playing down to the level of their opps in round 1. The end result? Knees were shot by round 2 in both years... gm 6 and 7 vs DEN, and tore the damn thing vs UTA. Only difference in 2019, the Raps handily beat ORL in R1, and so Kawhi didn't have to go ham until R2 (PHI). So instead his knees were cooked by R3 (MIL). But the role players had stepped up and he then coasted in the Finals.
Point is, when fully operational LAC shouldn't need to be a one-man show and highkey can't afford to be one again this year. Lue gets credit for coaching them outta playoff holes but he can't stay coaching them into one either.
