Not really a choke job but Reggie and Morris were really bad in the 4th. Too many minutes for Reggie. Should've been more Mann, RoCo, and maybe given Coffey a look. I think we would've pulled away had Kennard played. He would've knocked down a few jumpers during our cold streaks. Must win on Friday or that's the season. Probably don't want to see the Pels tho:patrice:
Needed more Norm and RoCo. Less Reggie & Morris.

Plus missing those FTs and giving up those 2 end of the quarter 3s didn't help. They have 2 days to get their shyt together.

Shocked Lue did the exact same thing and ran the older six man rotation into exhaustion yet again for the second game in a row and the second loss in a row. Pels trusted a newly signed G Leaguer, a low first rounder, and second rounder without any hesitation. And man the Kawhi/PG combo is on the clock next season

Tough way to end the year. We’re going to need to move some of the guys to build up our resources and open up playing time. I’d be shocked if Kennard, Morris, Zubac, and Batum were all on the team next season.

Why would they get rid or Zu or Batum. Even getting rid if Kennard is a stretch. Morris, I can see them moving if they can get something for him

If they feel they can upgrade the position. Aren't going to be enough minutes for Roco, Batum, Mann, Coffey, Powell, Luke, PG, Twin, and Kawhi. I'm happy keeping all these guys but if you can package 2 or 3 of them and get an upgrade you need to consider it.

In your opinion what's the necessary upgrade? It's not like The Lakers where even if AD & Bron were healthy they still have issues roster wise. A healthy Clippers team has the pieces to play in June. I think getting rid of this crew would be an overreaction. At this point like @pete clemenza says the scrappy shyt was cute the past two years but now it's time to get your full roster on the court and compete for the whole thing

barring major injuries about a team with kawhi leonard :usure:
Well lets see if this dynamic duo of ours can stay healthy for once

I know. It’s a lot to ask. They just gotta get the man to the playoffs relatively healthy and cross their fingers

Dude is a top 3-5 player and generational two way wing.

Every time he’s in the playoffs he turns into fukking MJ, sans Game 7 in the bubble when he ran out of gas

I think getting Covington back is a top priority. That may mean Marcus’s time is up if they can land a solid big for him. Batum should sign back for short money since he’s dude 8 million from the Hornets next year anyway.

Probably need a legit point guard at this point. I wonder if a Morris/throw-in deal could land someone like Malcolm Brogdon. I wouldn’t even sleep on them trying to go after Dame. I wouldn’t gut the roster for him though. PG and Kawhi healthy can win the west.

It's tough to say. Short of a third star I don't know what sort of upgrade dramatically improves this team. But the minutes crunch is real. I think the biggest thing going into next season is Kawhi and PG being healthy and us being out of the playin.

I know some folks want a traditional point guard but there's a short list of players I'd be ok taking the ball out of Kawhi and Paul's (dumbass turnovers aside) hands for -- Conley, Lowry, Jrue, Sga lol... don't get what a Cam Payne level player does for this team.

All of this could be moot as players get hurt and minutes may naturally open up.

I disagree about Kawhi/PG being on the clock. I think them being on the clock would mean we have some sort of alternative oath forward available to us. I have faith in the front office but we're rocking with these two until the wheels fall off. Outside of the bubble season I feel like theyve done everything they could have.
