Basically what he's doing now. His game seems to flow easier than Cole(out of control) and Chalmers(sometimes brain dead)

I listened to the overtime portion of game on the radio. After the game, on the Heat post-game show with Zaslow & Tommy Tige (sp), both of them were impressed by Napier. Both of them were practically gushing over how good he is so far as a rookie. Also they liked how he was getting the team into the offense early.

They were also really impressed by Dawkin's shooting ability. They compared him to James Jones who was always ready to shoot no matter when you put him in the game. They said the Duke connection could land him a roster spot.

Anybody that had doubts about Napier based on how he looked in Summer League never saw him play in college. His biggest issue will be defensively because of his size. But other than that, he's got basically everything you would want in a point guard. He can pass and score depending on what the defense gives him and he's confident and poised. And he's clutch at the line. I wouldn't start him right now but he's earned himself a spot in the rotation for sure. I watched a lot of UConn games since they're one of my favorite college teams so I know what he brings to the table and I'd take him on my team any day. He's showing it more and more as the preseason goes on and he gets more comfortable.

Napier has earned his starting spot and it would be stupid as hell to start Cole or Chalmers over him, he is a 4 year college player, this would EASILY be the best option for the team. But knowing Spo SMMFH, dude would be lucky to see 10 mpg to be honest. This was a pre season game where all the starters rested, yet Ennis barely played :mjlol:.................. What the fukk is wrong with Spolstra, dude is about to be exposed this season. Mark my words, he will not b the coach of the Heat by next season. I guarantee that. If he still is, its a choice Riley made, and it will be a bad one.
