Only the body and also if someone is sleeping theyre still in the game. Your body when you die in fallout 4 doesnt stay where you died cause you respawned so bodies are a dumb comparison. Signs, buildings, guns, crates, minerals, barrels, air drops last til theyre destroyed or picked up

Fallout can do this because there's a finite number of 'enemies' and items. but never the less this level of persistence isn't easy to pull off, and a lot of other games half-ass it. in The Witcher 3 for instance, when you drop an item it turns into a generic loot-sack

new vegas doesnt count because its basically the same game as fallout 3 and not a new installment. why did they pick another east coast city instead of san francisco which would look completely unique? parts of boston looks exactly like DC

A brand new Engine built by them to take advantage of next gen systems, that's all I ask. I like the game, but since I had Fallout 3, NV and Skyrim on PC they were all modded and looked good so the "jump" for me isn't that big.

I wouldn't expect it from the next game, but I'd love to see it in the one after that.

Dont know, like they said the engine is just a port of skyrim onto new consoles... I think maybe if they was like we're gonna tinker with it to make it look better. I'm not complaining at all though...

Though I admit sometimes the lighting can look rather decent. The saving grace is the PC version. 60fps, higher resolution, visual mods and shyt helps out a lot.
