you hear it here folks, thecoli.com tech section, computer specs dont matter, if a game is on ultra then it all looks the same :troll: why even buy a 980 TI when you can just grab a 660 , they both can run games on Ultra :troll:

@daze23 @2gunsup @Malta @Liquid @Ciggavelli @Prodigal Syndicate

both videos posted in this thread as examples, both the same game, both on Ultra settings, they clearly look the same quality :troll:

also a MMO with 80 people on screen doing their independent shyt attacking the same monster doesnt have more going on in it than Fall Out 4 a basic single player game :troll:

the irony coming from this poster :wow:

The only thing you can do with a stronger card is have higher resolution/downscale and/or have higher FPS. Neither of which we can see on a YouTube video. Both of these videos have the same simple geometry and flat textures. The colors/lighting is just different for whatever reason.

WTF is these nikkas talking about i think for a next gen fallout game the graphics are incredible!!! :mindblown: Granted we're not gonna be getting that hyper realistic graphics. i think the designers was going that semi cartoony updaated look. but if you noticed alot of things looks amazing. like the sky, when it rains, the lighting, the sounds when there's gunfire, the bomb and fire effects....

Goddamnit it's a fallout game, just enjoy it!!!
The new rendering tech is great but on top of that the animations have improved immensely over New Vegas and Fallout 3.

The Ghouls look incredible when they're chasing you down.
I think this was an ill conceived thread IMO. It's a great looking game especially when you factor
in all that you can do.

Guild Wars looks hella plane and flat. I'm not sure why you would want to compare that to Fallout 4

plus MMO's have different needs. that's why they used a different engine for ESO

In what other game can you place a fork somewhere in hour 1, come back to that spot in hour 120 and it still be there? Or better yet, place a fork on the dead body of an enemy in hour 1 and it still be there in hour 120.

When we have an example of a game that does the things Bethesda games do, then there is nothing to base a graphics comparison on.

Rust has respawning players, loot, resources, animals, etc. it would be impossible to pull that off without constant clean up. you'd step outside and there would be 1000's of bodies on the ground. it also usually requires server restarts and wipes to keep running smoothly, because at some point the number of objects gets ridiculous. speaking of which, it has a server/client structure where the server tracks all these objects, so the clients don't have to worry about all that

again, I don't know why you're trying to compare all these MMO type games with Fallout. they are very different

The question was does a game do what hes asking. I gave him an answer. It requires server restarts cause it does more than Fallout. The claim is that fallout does more than other games. Dont save them by bringing up genres because thats not what we are discussing

that body 'despawns' in like 30 minutes in Rust

I swear most of the people complaining about Fallout's graphics are just some bandwagon ass nikkas who got caught up in the hype train and never played Fallout 3 or NV.

How on earth are you gonna complain about graphics and bugs in a Bethesda game?:what:

wait, WHAAAT??? :mindblown:

tell me why bethesda gets a pass on all this stuff?

and you have the audacity to call other people bandwagon fakkits?! :heh: wtf
