knile is a great handcuff, he always produces when given the opportunity as lead back and charles isn't made of steel but if you have other needs, then he has to go. if i have a player that i have to let go but don't want anyone else to have i'll silently drop him on a non-waiver day and hope once he clears there's no comp to get him back
I kind of regret the move a little (picked Mason up for him) but my thinking was that his prime productive days are behind him now that Charles is back to full health. Mason has more upside, IMO.
Here's a doozy:
Would you drop Justin Hunter for Andrew Hawkins?
Now mind you.....
The ONLY reason I'm considering it is because holding onto Hunter requires me to start Jeremy Hill in Week 9 due to all the teams on bye.
Hunter is on a bye in Week 9 too.
If I drop him for Hawkins I'll end up with Hawkins in my starting lineup over Hill for Week 9, which I feel is a better play.
Long term, I like Hunter's value way more (especially now that Locker's coming back) but I strictly have an eye on next week and securing this first round bye.
None of these players would crack my starting lineup any other week.
Thoughts?
