I don’t fukk with Tariq like that but have you ever been to a conference before? Planning of a conference/convention typically takes a year. I’m not sure when he initially announced but if he announced this year, its perfectly normal to host in the summer of the following year. I belong in professional associations and have been on planning committees for our conferences. we start planning a year before the actual date.

I have been to conferences..I didn't wait 6 months to a year though
I know it takes time to plan events.. but personally,it irks me
