1. I stopped reading that thread once Tariq got his ass handed to him. I have no clue what she said after as I just stopped reading it. I saw former NBA player and a personal favorite David West come in and say fukk you to her and I was done. It became clear, brehs wasn't comprehending the shyt like trying to explain systematic white supremacy to cacs. You know how we think, this thread is a prime example. We can't read for shyt, we read shyt based on emotions. I am guilty of it too especially in the the Coliseum.

2. All my shyt is based off the conversation I posted. Simple as that. I don't know why nikkas so fukking goofy on the shyt. I broke that shyt down to you.

As far as Akata. It is and it isn't. But it is.

Meaning some folks in west Africa call everyone Akata that's different. You mixed Igbo and Yoruba, Akata. You mix like me with AA, Akata. You AA and they see the self hate, Akata. Most people don't say that shyt and some that do don't use it the same. But some do and from my view of it. Its demeaning. Its basically saying you a lost person with no lineage to trace back too. You can lose your culture. You will lost our great heritage for one that either does not accept you or does do have one based on proven principles.

That's why I look at it as something that needs to die. Whatever the intent was, that is not what it means especially when said in anger. So to me, is it. Yes. I think it is. Now go ask old Nigerians or west Africans or young ones, you gonna get a different opinion. Most will look at you like its not a big deal. It's not the er or chunk. Its no different to them than calling CACS oyinbos.

If you ask older west Africans, the root is from a story based in Lagos. A cat became missing from his pack. He knew the customs of the pack and what he was culturally to his pack. But the cat got lost and couldn't track his pack. He learned new customs and new views. He had a different perspective but craved the customs and feeling of belonging that he lost when he was with the pack. So he found them and while interesting, they still wanted to have him back but he wasn't the same. Everything he knew with them was gone and the cat became one of the world and not with the world. The lost touch with everyone and his loyalty was self serving, he wasn't the same cat. That cat was all but gone. He alienated even his own family and they couldn't understand why the cat was like this. He was lineage just like them but his customs and principles was no more. He questioned everything and his sense of care was gone and he left again and as the story ends right there. That's the story of the Akata cat. How did that get pushed onto black folks in the diaspora is one I don't know. You know Nigeria and all of Africa full of folklore tales passed down from the elders.

That said, since the narrative from Yvette is that this word is like the er there is not gonna be that understanding especially when Black folks feel that some group who looks just like them is getting over. I've heard posters I fukk with say that shyt. @LovelyOne83. That to me is bullshyt. White supremacy don't change when they see a funny last name to them. They double the fukk down and go even harder to screw the shyt outta you. They don't have no chill. They are white supremacists. Nothing less. Don't get misconstrued by African c00ns who are tap dancing and c00ning their ass off for some butter biscuits. Most are grinding their fukking asses off.

This is a globalized society. You be a fukking clown to not want to compete if nikkas want to help you and you be a fool not to help nikkas. But you know, nikkas favorite religion is being crabs. We can't help it, we hate to see a nikka win. Its not just the case here, shyt look at Jamaica. Look at South Africa. shyt is self hate and internalized white supremacy diseases. We talk about HIV, but HIV ain't killing folks like self hate from white supremacy is globally.

I think the theory that the they used Akata in the beginning to refer to the Black Panthers symbolism during the Fela Kuti days makes the most sense. Then after that they coopted the terminology Akata to refer to something negative in the following decades after the immigration laws passed that let them in the country and started to be around Black Americans more.

The Cornell story was a public example of a phenomena that I personally feel is happening on a national scale. As mentioned previously, let's wait until this new census comes out to see what insight that will bring.

I'm at an elite law school and the few blacks that are there are mostly second generation Africans from privileged backgrounds.

White supremacy uses division against you.

They see you with a funny last name and they notice the divide that some Africans have from AAs and double down and exploit it. They have you thinking that you and your culture are better than AAs and our culture and have you doing their dirty work for them. Therefore they get stronger and united while we stay weak and separated.

I’ve seen various Africans (with pictures of them around mainly white peoeple) say “those AAs” followed by a demeaning looking down comment.

That’s the point that you are glossing over.

You have a very silly and underdeveloped POV. You say some Africans as if there is no AAs who think worse or double down worse. Ya'll nikkas man, I can't do this dumb shyt with you nikkas in 2019. You really think this is a you v. shyt. nikkas mane :snoop:

Your acting like it’s mainly AAs looking down of Africans when it’s not. The main promoters of pan Africanism is AAs.

Most of us see black unty before tribal division. That’s why that lady mentioned her tribal difference to Tariq in he first place because she saw black unity and wanted to be divisive.

It mainly is both and a limited few on both sides. Black people as a whole aren't monoliths. You nikkas mane.

:mjlol: What? It's mainly pro Blacks who promote you idiot. Most AAs or Africans aren't promoting Pan Africanism and it's been like that for awhile. You on that divide BS. You can hold that foolishness.

What's your ethnicity?

Wrong

If that was the case African Americans wouldn’t even call themselves “African” American and group ourselves with Africans as fellow black peoeple

We would of pulled that tribalism move and separated ourselves from Africans but instead most of us acknowledge our connection to Africa.

The proof that AAs reached out and connected to Africans is all around you. You are just not using your brain enough to see it.

I knew I wouldn't like his newest upload.

"Black people need to adopt a military mindset....make sure you get your Mink Slide vinyl"

:mjlol:

If he wants to take cues from Yvette Carnell he needs to do more than repeat conspiracy theories and regurgitate history.

I love what he does, but, shows strategic weakest on subjects like this.

One, having a McDonalds job means you need that money and no Tariq, your definitely not getting another one having to compete with immigrants and coming cashierless McD's.

There's a McD near me in a Lily white neighborhood...all Latino people working, speaking nothing but Spanish to each other.

Also, it's Florida. One swing from a brotha and the white man let's off and we hashtagging once again after he stands his ground.

That internet superhero shyt kills me.

And in the video there is a brother breaking it up. It was a quick thing. Not like the CAC was stomping her out.

This was a great time for him to talk about unions and right to work, which all of the South has.

But, that would have taken him out his usual fukkery and cheerleading he does.

Disclaimer, I'm a supporter of dude and just want to be able to disagree. Don't trip.
