That said, since the narrative from Yvette is that this word is like the er there is not gonna be that understanding especially when Black folks feel that some group who looks just like them is getting over. I've heard posters I fukk with say that shyt. @LovelyOne83. That to me is bullshyt. White supremacy don't change when they see a funny last name to them. They double the fukk down and go even harder to screw the shyt outta you. They don't have no chill. They are white supremacists. Nothing less. Don't get misconstrued by African c00ns who are tap dancing and c00ning their ass off for some butter biscuits. Most are grinding their fukking asses off.

@#1 pick - I don’t have an issue with non DOS black people but my opinion on this matter still stands. For instance, affirmative action was created to course correct the years of damage inflicted on DOS via American chattel slavery. In the short clip below, Lyndon B Johnson very careful words pretty much confirms this.

That being said, we are viewed differently than non DOS blacks. In fact, universities are said to prefer immigrant blacks over DOS because they are viewed as more docile (paraphrasing here). A great example of this is the Cornell debacle where black students noticed that they were incorrectly represented as a group among various Ivy Leagues. Cornell University: Who Counts As Black

The point is that other minorities are used to mask American DOS failure, while using the same systems that were meant to course correct the economical disadvantage posed to DOS, against said DOS. The black diaspora, as well as other minorities & white women, are fighting for something that was never meant for them in the first place. If you are willingly taking resources that was meant for my community, how can I see you as an true ally?

Look, Yvette has gotten on my last nerves & continues to do so but she is absolutely right about this. The next census will be based more on ethnicity (defining DOS black) rather than pure race. I strongly believe that this census will tell a story that support's Yvette's claims of other black people being used against us. Until that information comes out, lets table this conversation.

This sounds good and well thought of but let me tell you why its bullshyt.

Note, this speaks to just Ivy League schools which makes up less than one percent of 1% of all Black students and alumnis. Let's just say you are correct. That's the elite schools from their own prefers Blacks from an non DoS background.

This is not a proven statement but I talked to Black AAs in higher education professionals who stated their comrades liked Caribbean and African professionals more because they aren't willing to shake things up. I asked how are they willing to stake things up and more times than not, they weren't. They were just saying, they have a preference of them and that's an issue to me. I respect honesty but people gotta be more exact but I've heard of this as well. But back to my point, let's say this is the case at elite universities, even at a small level, how does this change the narrative and mask Black folks failure?

It's a simple question. I've heard Yvette say this as well. I am simply wondering how is this possible. We are talking about such a small sample size. That's just assuming this is real which I don't believe is honestly.

The Cornell story was a public example of a phenomena that I personally feel is happening on a national scale. As mentioned previously, let's wait until this new census comes out to see what insight that will bring.

But do we have proof? Is there a legit data that proves this and what would it be in correlation to? There is so many questions.

I do not think just changing the census will address it. We are talking about data and the sample size. Would that really have precedence in term of masking Black failure?

Like I said, if you take emotions out of this and look at see the amount of which we are talking about, we start to realize maybe we don't have the same case we once thought we did. That's why I am v. Emotional politics which Yvette, Tariq and other YT pundits give to their listeners.

We may not have proof yet because we haven't asked the right questions. The reason why I am bringing up the census so much is because that will most likely show the difference in wealth, not only between blacks & whites, but also among different sectors of the entire black diaspora. When people start to see the facts, many questions will rise.

I personally think we have a very strong case for this. In my personal life alone, I see more immigrant blacks & black lgbt in positions over straight black males. Black women are highly employed but that's also to further emasculate non working black DOS men AND make black women more masculine within our dating pool. From my personal experience, this is too common to just be a coincidence. Again, I truly think that this is happening on a large scale to solidify black DOS as the permanent underclass.

I'm not emotional about this in any regards. I simply see it as an American debt that is owed, and when that said debt is paid, it needs to be paid to the right people and not spread among everyone.

I haven't accused you ma'am. I apologize if it came across that way.

You bring up a lot of great points. Thank you

@LovelyOne83 There is zero confirmation of a separate black American DOS , or even a 1st Gen West African born category for the 2020 census.
Thee 2020 US Census has done research and will include the addition of Middle Eastern or North African category.

I like how he highlights what I've been on. That TRIBALISM is some antiquated, irrelevant bullshyt that has to go.
