At 27:35 Tariq says he’s not voting for either candidate because neither one of them have a Black agenda, friend.
That is a person who doesn't understand how the United States political system works. You don't become a player by removing yourself you become a non-factor.

Until first past the post is removed that approach is worthless.

Also the only black agenda republicans will go for is what helps the Candice Owens types. The pull yourself up by your boot straps isn't going to do much of anything for minorities.

Then other people will decide your fate. In American politics either you choose who closest you align with or you give other people the power to choose for you. We lost the right to abortion, the voting rights act, the Supreme Court because people sat out and others got to chose what we got.

A two party first past the post system will always be the lesser of two evils.

So basically you and others like you, the last 60 years, are insane.

Making a strategic choice which of the major candidates closest aligns with you isn't giving away your vote. Either you take a look at them and pick which one you prefer or other people will pick for you. All this they're going to court my vote shyt isn't ever going to happen. If you remove yourself from the process the strategies the parties build will just factor you out.

Look at the republican party. Blacks traditionally don't vote republican so instead of courting that vote and adjusting policies they put up road blocks to try to minimize the black vote and get it tossed out. The black folks telling you don't vote are a part of that.

The place to apply pressure to the political parties is the primaries where you can choose to back a candidate that further aligns with your goals. In a general election it is what it is and either you vote closest to your own ideals or run the risk of those ideals furthest from you gaining more power.

No, you're giving Tariq too much credit. He understands exactly how this works, he's just team Trump.

All that tangibles shyt is just to try to depress black turnout and reduce the amount of influence black voters have. He knows what he's doing.

I don’t align with Benign Neglect or white supremacists. Especially without TANGIBLES, friend

I suggested as much here.

He's a covert republican operative. Instead of a Kanye West approach of running and trying to syphon off black votes to help republicans he does it the opposite way. He makes arguments that result in less blacks voting and when the republicans get in power they enact policies that put more money into the pockets of grifters like him.

I'm not suggesting the democrats are saints but there's only one of the two major parties that will even consider addressing any of the concerns of black voters and it most certainly isn't the republican party. Anybody that wants to pretend the republicans really care for anything but putting more money in the pockets of the wealthy at the expense of everyone else is lying. As republicans gain more power they will further enact strategies to minimize the black vote.

I would vote for Bernie Sanders because he has a decent voting record on economic issues. He opposed NAFTA and most -favored nation status for China.

But no more support for Corporatist Democrats. Who are just Republican light when it comes to outsourcing jobs and importing foreign workers.

Kamala is going to finish the job Biden started on immigration. Next up will be lifting the per country cap for employment based green cards. She's gonna destroy the tech job sector like Bill Clinton destroyed manufacturing job sector.

That's why Democrats lost a ton of support from Union and rural voters. They pivoted to white collar and upper class voters. But about to screw them over too.

Trump is gonna do the same exact thing. That's why I'm not voting for either of them.

Breh had 100k in his live last night,

Kamala should sit down with him and maybe she can blow dude out the waters.

Tariq has the grassroots in a chokehold and many folks are listening to him and the folks that speak the same talking points he speaks like Dwann B and them other folks.

I even hear Roland now starting to say the same things as Tariq and his folks lol
Yeah right LMAO. If you think that 60 Minutes interview was bad, she'll combust if asked directly about tangibles and confronted about not doing anything for Black people without editing or a fixed environment. He might make her cry:mjlol:
