I also think we need a big who can secure rebounds and get offensive rebounds in big moments. A big who can help when the wings get beat off the dribble.

I'm about done with porter jr and lauri. They are unreliable and can't stay healthy. And carter Jr just not good enough.
It'll be interesting to see how this team looks when those guys come back.

The offense looks as good as we've seen it in quite sometime without them.

Usually I get pretty beat up after Bulls losses but I’ve been encouraged this past week with how they have played. Would have been nice to steal one of the LA games to boost the teams confidence though but I think they are feeling upbeat about how they have competed judging by post game press conferences. Usually they seem so defeated not so much this season. It prob helps that Boylen isn’t ripping them in the press and being an a$$hole at practices. You can tell they really respect how Billy conducts himself as a coach. Billy understands how to develop player relationships. I’m really happy with his hire so far.

Last year we would have been run out the gym by 30

We took big shots from 3 of the best teams in the west beat 1 and had a shot to win the other 3 games on this trip.

If this a evaluation year then I think its clear that lavine coby and Patrick Williams are the keepers. I wanted them to start making our franchise look like something and they are doing that.

Yea those 3 are the core. We just need a vet PG and an upgraded frontcourt and this is a 45 /50win team in 2 years

Coby is growing a lot as a PG

Crazy how Pat as a rookie already has a super smooth Kawhi-esque off the dribble midrange J but his 3 shot is super slow mo release with hitch

These are the kinds of strides I was looking for a few years ago with this team.

It's pretty refreshing to hear great players from around the league speak highly on what the Bulls are doing and looking like on the floor. IMO, that's the best PR when trying to attract key FAs moving forward. With the rep the Bulls was carrying during the last seasons under Hoiberg and with Boylen, it was basically a pipedream to even think any player of significance took this franchise seriously.
