What about Kyle Lowry to the Bulls? I’m surprised that hasn’t been talked about at all

they should be all over that no? What other choices besides Zo are out there?
I was on a group on Facebook and they were discussing a Lowry and derozan reunion in Chicago.

If we give our pick to Orlando that gives us 7 mill more in cap space. We clear aminu Sato and thad out we could get a lil over 20 mil in space. Try to give that to Lowry on a 1+1 deal then sign and trade lauri to the spurs and get derozan in return.

Don't know how realistic that is but it's it's interesting idea. Lowry, lavine, derozan, pwill and Vucevic is a interesting starting 5

2020-2021 "Win Now Mode Activated" Post-Mortem:

Push for "play-in" Spot: Fail

Capture Playoff Spot: Fail

Elevate League Wide Credibility As a "Winning Organization": Fail

Establish Confidence in Front Office & Coaching Staffs Competence Among Stakeholders: Fail

Minimize Future Team Buildihg Flexibility: SUCCESS

Welp ...at least we still have a chance to TANK our way to a potential top 4 pick over the next two games.. I'm sure this is exactly how AKME envisioned it :francis:

The worst case scenario ended up happening. Zach missing 11 games cause of COVID crushed them

Ahhh God ..here we go with this classic Chicago Bulls fanbase excuse making and fake shock shyt

The Bulls with Zach/Nikola together were a sub .500 team after the trade ... 7 wins 8 losses ..that's a 47% win rate ..if this was a 82 game season that projects out to a record of 38-44 ...mind you.. you must have forgot how many fortunate W's we got over that stretch were the opposing teams had several key players out.. or maybe the injury excuse only works in our favor??

Im saying like please for once can we cut this shyt out and keep it real with ourselves bruh ... Y'all nikkas keep acting flabbergasted when the thing you think will happen doesn't happen ...and then it's the litany of excuses "nobody could have seen this coming" "if it wasn't for the injuries" "it's just the coach" ..just stop ... shyt is like a bad soap opera

How do we get rid of Aminu salary without giving up an asset:usure:......Reinsdorf ain't gonna buy him out
Even if we bought him out the salary hitnis still on our books unless somebody claimed him on waivers which never happens because teams would rather sign a bought out player for the minimum... The only thing a bit out does is save them a little money out of their pocket book directly because players often take less to get bought out than they're actually owed for the reminder of their deals... We could waive a stretch his remaining money out over several years along with guys like Thad and Sato if we want to actually create more cap space this summer but then we'd have dead money on our books for several years and who's worth doing that for in this year's FA class :francis:

Word.

The Bulls missing their best player down the home stretch of the season didn't effect their chances of making the play-in.

They didn't get in because they weren't good enough. Before the trade they blew plenty of games that they had no business losing (GSW, POR at home are glaring examples), so really I'm not surprised they missed out. They had enough chances to be higher in the standings before Zach went out. I get it

Their best player who they were sub .500 with when he actually played with/Vuc in real life would have magically lead them to an undefeated record in the hypothetical world ..and the other teams we got wins off of because of their injuries in the real world don't matter in the hypothetical Chicago centric universe.. I get bruh.. go bulls!! City of champions :blessed:

I saw what I pretty much wanted to see this season which was an improved play better coaching and a good idea on which players were keepers going forward. Actually viewing the games I know that a good play maker on the floor to end a lot of these games would have got us more wins than we have. AK tried to get that here and couldn't pull it off. The offense made a slight improvement but could have been elite with that guard.

At this point though only keepers for me is lavine pwill and Vucevic . I still like coby but If the right deal presents itself he can go too. Theis and temple returning on the right deals is ok. Rest of these guys, it's been real but might be time to move on.

Failure of this franchise is really on a ton of top 10 picks not being more than mediocre role players. If any of the guys we selected the past 4 seasons could have become true stars we having a different conversation right now.
