Not for me. Went in blind. It reminds me of "Sorry to Bother You" at the end. Just went over top trying to convey a deep message. But I have no problem with Demi getting her nominations. She did great. But this like artsy film mixed with a horror film.
The right amount of camp, the right amount of horror. I don't understand the hate for the final act. I don't get how you could come up with a more fitting ending.

Because the ending felt like a completely different vibe than the previous 2 hours.
Topless showgirls for a NYE telecast with kids in the audience and a chaotic bloodbath going on to heavy metal music. 
I like the movie despite the ending.

That spoiler fell in line with the whole camp aesthetic for me. Also, the nudity with kids being in the crowd makes sense when you know the movie is directed by a French woman.
