1. My point exactly. You think God owes you something when you havent done anything for God. How can someone owe you something when you havent done anything for that someone first?

2. 1000 ways to do it? I dont agree. I think most religions live by the same basic rule. Do unto others how you would like done unto you. Its prevalent in Judaism, Christianity, Islam as well as Buddhism and I believe Hinduism.
1 because he expects me to follow his rules, with my soul on the line. when his direction is suspect at best

2 those religions all have different rules/ways to get into heave, which is the end goal

well isnt that convenient :skip:

although clearly, jesus' rules directly contradict every other one of those characters :lupe:. jesus said the only way to god (heaven) is thru me, buddha said nothin like that

This same Jesus who contradicted Moses along with his own prophets (Paul, Peter, John)? Is that the Jesus you're talking about? Of course the way of life/beliefs are not going to be 100% the same. They came in different time periods to different people with different beliefs. The fact of the matter is they all spearheaded new religions. That is if we go with the premise that they existed.

And how is that even "convenient"? Its a belief. I believe that either they all are false, or they are all rooted in the same spirit. Explain how that is "convenient" as if Im backing out of something?

1. I dont think His direction is suspect at best. I would believe that would be the fellow men that are currently leading you and I down a strange path that is the "direction" we should be questioning.

2. Different intricacies yes. But the basic message is the same. Treat others nicely as possible. Treat your mind, body and soul in the same manner. If they involve God, worship God nothing created. Building blocks of most religions but of course Im not saying there are no differences.

its convenient because they CANNOT all be true stories. ill give the fact that there may be a god, but i refuse to believe that theres an intergalactic tag team that consists of jesus, zeus, buddha, and whoever the fukk that came together to create humans/the universe

If you say that "God doesnt exist" your talking about every idea of God. :snoop:
i have never said that god doesnt exist. my contention is that there could be a god, but the sheer amount of interpretations means that no group of humans has it right, so the fukkery that ensues becuase of said interpretations disgusts me

i learned about how greeks had 'myths' when i was in school, but these christians and muslims aren't praying to myths right, their shyt is real. :camby::camby::camby:

and to edit again: how can u debate this post?

Why cant they all be true? Not that I said such a thing, just wondering.

I dont believe there is a tag team of beings that created the universe. I believe there is ONE God above all creation. Now He may have designated someone to create something. But it would be like Nike hiring you to do something. They gave you the tools/orders to do that something so they would still get the credit.

Oh and I do believe that some civilizations had actual beings come to them in one way or another and tell them certain things. Hebrews would be one example. Another might be the Sumerians

fine, breh. but if this is the case then the creator is a fukkin cocksucker for being so ambiguous and allowing so much carnage over human disagreement
