since there are what, a thousand rleigions/descriptions of the creator? its safe to say that NONE of them have it right.

if theres a god, he doesnt have my respect in the least. we teach our children. he couldnt have taught us who he really was so we didnt fight and kill over whats the right interpretation? he cant answer whether or not ill go to hell for postin pics of allah in slaimon threads?

once again, i guess my comment was misunderstood not that it was some deep shyt or anything

all im tryna say is that i cant get over the fact that people, adults, KNOW that this "god" is out there and watching over them, cares about them. people can lose their homes, families, everything, but its OK because they know that god loves them. they know that he intervenes in their lives. where the fukk does it come from? these idiots have certainly never interacted with a supreme being

No. Not in the way you and I interact. Not in the way you and a friend may come together and interact. But people do have "supernatural" experiences that happen in their life. I have had some but I believe they were for me only and the person(s) that witnessed it. Me passing it to someone else would just be treated as hearsay. But I know what I experienced and it was something happening beyond my control.

Now do people make up their own gods and worship them? Yes they do. But that doesnt take awy there being a Supreme Creator that created all things in existence.

Doesnt matter. Of course if one does not take his/her faith seriously enough to SEE if God exists than nothing will happen. In other words, just believing what you were/are told is not called having faith. Its not a relationship with the God you are supposed to be worshiping.

In regards to Santa, kids grow up and figure where the story came from. Now as for God, thats a deeper truth that they have to search out. But most of them just fall in line with false teachers/prophets of different religions (and non religious atheists) and believe what their false prophet/teacher tells them.Its a personal walk to God and I believe that EVERYONE has the ability to do so. But not just in anyway they deem fit.

1. My point exactly. You think God owes you something when you havent done anything for God. How can someone owe you something when you havent done anything for that someone first?

2. 1000 ways to do it? I dont agree. I think most religions live by the same basic rule. Do unto others how you would like done unto you. Its prevalent in Judaism, Christianity, Islam as well as Buddhism and I believe Hinduism.
