I think that was needed tho because they made this dude out to be a bad dad and bad husband in the pilot and it seemed like bad writing because they didn't show any reason as to why but this made it clear why he's had the issues with his marriage and his son. It may not be riveting tv but it's needed

I think that was needed tho because they made this dude out to be a bad dad and bad husband in the pilot and it seemed like bad writing because they didn't show any reason as to why but this made it clear why he's had the issues with his marriage and his son. I dunno, it's still bad writing to me, considering the way they're setting up the plot with him as the lead (dude is a top CDC doctor dealing with deadly viral breakouts , of course dude works crazy hours), I could understand them playing up the alcoholism thing. They've just not done a good job presenting dude as a "terrible father/husband" to get you into this drama enough IMO.

Liked this episode much better, the pacing was way better. The guy they have playing mexican money may stay having me .

Yeah I agree those were my sentiments about the first episode which is why this one worked better in establishing that but it still needs work. I'd go with him being emotionally distant and an alcoholic not with him being devoted to his job which by its vey nature requires him to spend a lot of time at his job

You're telling me they didn't tell anyone about the video with the man flying and picking up that huge coffin thing in the matter of half a second?

Yeah, the guys body was found with his head fukking hulk smashed with the same shyt covering the area as was in the plane, about 30 yards from where the sketchy ass COFFIN WITH SKELETONS COVERING IT THAT WAS ON THE PLANE BUT NOT THE MANIFEST DISAPPEARED FROM, BUT LETS NOT TAKE A DEEPER LOOK AT THAT

Nobody has stopped by or checked up on the dude who they for some stupid fukk reason decided to let autopsy 200 fukking people by himself? They're going to go ahead and call it carbon monoxide poisoning without even like.....TALKING TO HIM?!?!

And we've seen the "I don't believe you, you're crazy" thing already far too many times in this show. Is everyone in this show's universe just completely against EVIDENCE?

I mean I'm trying to like the show, but there comes a point where you can't suspend disbelief anymore and you gotta call out the writers. I'm guessing they just think everyone in the CDC graduated college with a degree in being A fukkING MORON.

They explained this. The brehs at stonehenge pulled some strings with "disinformation". They dropped the story that it was just carbon monoxide to the press and the press ran with it. Cause they said they cant let the general public continue to believe its an epidemic or else the plan wont work.

Now with these fugazi 'official' reports saying it wasnt some viral infection the authority of the CDC is not overseeing it anymore. Its under some engineering dept with the airline

The old billionaire is pull strings on the Plane issue, did you not see the convo between him and the Nazi Vampire? So who knows how many connections he has. The autopsy guy's disappearance is strange, but i imagine the CDC docs are going to run into some vampires (that's could be the reason why no one has showed up) next episode.

Like, don't get me wrong brehs. I'm not trying to be one of the aggy coli critics on here shytting on a show within the first couple of episodes. I'm most likely in this for the long haul unless it turns, into something, like, not enterataining. This show, despite all my grievances, is a remarkably fresh take on the vampire mythos and some of the characters like the old Jew and his Vamp enemy breh seem like they're gonna make the show something dope. But I just had to get it established and see if people agree with me on those parts.

I'm just saying, there is no way in 2014 that 200 people are going to end up dead, there is no autopsy, shyt gets "leaked" to the internet, and nobody is asking any real questions. Thats unbelievable as fukk that people are going to accept that their family members died of "carbon monoxide" poisoning, and not ask to see the bodies or for a fukking autopsy. Its carbon monoxide poisoning derp. They didn't get burned up or anything, so where are the bodies?

Either way, the people who survived that wouldn't just be released the next day without any sort of real check up or anything, right I mean the bytch is bleeding from her mouth in the restaurant. Yeah, they wouldn't have noticed that shyt. They all complained about a ringing in their ears that only them, the survivors, can hear. LOL ITS A COINKYDINK

The only way I see me being completely off base with my thoughts here is if the amount of time that passed is much less than I initially thought. But I feel like these people would be in constant contact with the chief medical examiner, right? The full autopsy might not be done in a day, but even the small details would be key in discovering wtf happened in a timely manner. I wish they still put the time since the outbreak at the bottom of the screen cause that would make it a lot clearer

2nd episode was a lot better though. That last scene was pretty chilling.
