That team is not better than us. Nobody will convince me otherwise. We were better and just handed them the game. Losing games that we should've won is the absolute worst, especially at this point of the season.

Love picked an awfully inconvenient time to have his worst quarter of football. Cut Carlson immediately. I don't give a fukk. The fact that we got no points after that Jones run is...well, it cost us our season. Couldn't finish drives, and it cost us our season. Couldn't catch Purdy's picks, and it cost us our season. God I hate losing like this.

Remember in one of my earlier posts where I said I wasn't scared of anybody in the NFC except maybe SF? Well I was wrong. SF aren't any good either. This is an insane statement to make considering what we've seen from this team this year, but there's absolutely no reason why we shouldn't have made the Super Bowl. Future is bright and we're young blah blah blah, but fukk man, we should be playing next week.

Hell of a run, but once again our season ends with an L.

Jordan Love reverted back to "WOAT" that he displayed earlier in the year, at the worst possible time. He missed multiple open guys on back to back drives, then threw probably the worst throw I've seen an NFL QB make.

Def a learning experience for him, but I won't lie I don't trust Jordan in late game situations, and haven't all year.

MLF put together an awesome campaign, Joe Barry saved his job I think. Need a new kicker, but that's not gonna happen anytime soon unless he falls apart in the middle of the year next year too

I get he played shyt his last 3 series but u tripping on not trusting him late, He been resilient all season long. The come back vs NO and the Giants game even after playing bad. I know he will get on himself that last throw and learn but in no way would I be worried with him having the ball late in the game.

Deebo is the difference maker. Now that I've had an hour to cool off, I'm mostly just upset that it was San Fran doing it and not someone else. But it FELT different this time. They didnt feel like bullies. I blame Rodgers soft ass for that. These kids on offense we got are DOGS.

Detroit has a real shot. Its not like Purdy is going to make DET's bad secondary pay.

We need REAL safeties, a real LT and GTFO Josh Myers at C (piece of shyt) and the guy with a funny name at CB from Bama. Maybe an Aaron Jonesa contingency plan as well. We had two AMAZING drafts, and I think another one turns us to the new Lions going into next year.


EDIT: Love's horrific decision to throw that pass was exacerbated by the downpour that happened every time we touched the ball. His deep ball has actually gotten damn good. Just a baaaad quarter of ball...

This has been true since 2011 though

Every issue from the off season kills us in the post season. It's never rocket science. But every year the coach tells us this obvious problem isn't a problem.

I need folks to understand that this is always our ceiling if we don't have greatness at the coaching level and front office.

We keep saying Love did great, but this is MLF's THIRD playoff loss to the 9ers.

It's asinine to say we just gotta tweak little things as if the 9ers aren't doing the same thing. They also feel they didn't play well. The 9ers have had 2 top level coaches that have gone on to be HEAD COACHES since MLF got here. Where's our coaching tree!? Why are we ok with average coordinators and GMs???
