I missed the whole 4th quarter. The offense couldn't do shid and the defense couldn't get off the field.

First double digit lead blown in the 4th since the 2014 NFC Championship @ Seattle :scust:

Overall even though we lost, Jordan Love looked poised. He is our guy.
He has encouraging signs, but he also has some really poor ones.

MLF so far has schemed alot of his "good throws", but today when asked to go out and make a play and win when the defense knows you're throwing he failed pretty miserably

That 4th qt offense was horrendous, and in particular that final drive.. and it can be a learning experience for him, instead of turning into the norm.

His biggest issue right now is consistent accuracy, cause he flashes some solid playmaking but then hasn't quite shown to sustain that yet (it's very early)

Back to back games of around 60% completion isn't gonna get it done, and this is who he's been in training camp. I hope he puts it together tho, he's ceiling is high. But so far he plays like a game manager, which is fine for right now but wanna see that next step

The only thing I will say with this, is that Quarterbacks have to take risks at times; throwing it into tight windows because of great coverage.

Love's first pass was a deep bomb that the Falcon's DEF had to deliberately interfere to stop a touchdown.

So I really don't care about completion rate, as I find it a misleading stat because sometimes you see 15/20, but then the longest pass isn't more than 10 yards.

Except Love isn't consistently throwing it down the field yet. Hopefully with Watson back that'll change.

I mean he was 14/25 for 151 today. I didn't see the Wicks PI which I heard would have been a nice play, but the Doubs one was a bad underthrow.

I think as a QB in this league you gotta hit around 65-67% as a passer. Hopefully Jordan turns into that

I’m not even surprised. Matt don’t call games good down the stretch.

All of this is true. I noticed this just by the two quarters today. I like that he’ll use his legs and has that low key speed to get where he’s needed.

This nikka will shyt on Love and the offense who scored 24 on the road with half the starters out but refuses to place blame on Rodgers and the offense who did jack shyt all game in the SF loss at home in the playoffs. Hilarious.

Anyways, QB is not the issue. We aee set there. The game plans when our star RB and WR are out is the issue. Joe Barry is the issue. We fix those things, we win games.

Its not shytting on Love. He's a young QB who has some solid traits, but pointing out some of the negatives THAT I WANT TO SEE HIM AND MLF IMPROVE ON isn't bashing him. Its called being an objective fan

Changing Joe Barry isn't suddenly gonna make this defense elite either.

Jones and Watson are injury prone. Its been proven with Jones for years now, and Watson is showing signs he might have problems staying healthy for long stretches.

You gotta plan for that, cause it's who they are and they will miss games.

This defense is the most talented we've had in years. So yes, changing our DC would make the world of a difference. He is nothing but a low tier leech who used his inner circle to get where he is at, not his coaching. U talk about being objective here, go check out his track record. The hire made no sense from the get go.

Jones is done after this season even though he's out only star player atm. Watson still young and if he stays injury prone, we have future talent riding behind him.

MLF will never change. He's a bootlegged Shanahan who is as stubborn as MM was when it comes to sticking to the plan even if said plan isnt working. its why Rodgers audible out so many times. The whole performance this year will be soley on how "great" MLF is when it comes to offenses. He has a QB who will play to his plan with little to no audibles.

im banking my life savings that MLF is mediocre at best when its all said and done :unimpressed:

Weve been saying "the defense will finally step up!!" for years now ... years

We've spent the better part of a decade drafting high defensive draft picks. I don't like Joe Barry, I actually thought Pettine was better than him but this is D coordinator #3 who is TRASH. Now at some point it's gotta be on the players/front office

MLF is overrated, I agree on that portion no doubt. He will have an incredibly long leash for what 12/17 did for him his first couple years here tho
