to keep it a bean, the prequel trilogy is looking better in the light as time passes on
right now I still have it ahead of the Disney trilogy 2 films in
TPM >>>> NT by leaps and bounds...

I don't like sand...it's coarse, rough, and irritating..and it gets everywhere. Not like you; you're everything soft..and smooth.
TPM in my opnion has aged pretty well and isn't a bad film, rewatched it a few days ago (and I used to HATE it)They managed to make a worst film than TPM with the Last jedi
so
Threads that aged well.
All 3 prequels > > "Reyyyyy!!!" The movie
If you don't think Daisy Ridley is gonna be a star then i don't know what to tell you bruh...
Main problem with the prequels is they boring af. Lucas wrote some terrible scripps. Cgi looks like trash too especially 1 and 2.I might need to rewatch the prequels. For some damn reason I cannot remember Episode 2. I know I've seen it. Once in theaters and once on Spike TV but for some reason I cannot remember it.
Darth Maul however brief >>>>> Kylo RenPeople just like to hate on what's new, and as much as I hate to say it a lot of people just hate on the new trilogy because of animosity towards feminists or some shyt.
You could make an argument for Episode III, but there's no way Episodes I or II are better than the current movies.
Jar-Jar Binks
WOAT love story
The Jedi being portrayed as idiots and somehow not noticing that Palpatine was evil
Padme dying for no reason
Darth Maul however brief >>>>> Kylo Ren
Yoda going ham >>> TFA and TLJ combined.
Prequels were weak in many areas but they had more classic moments than these new films easily. Can't even think of one long lasting moment in these new films.
Basically the prequels had a lot of good ideas, but they were executed poorly. Like you said, Darth Maul>Kylo Ren but he was only in one movie and barely got any dialogue or backstory. They put absolutely zero effort into the character outside of his design, he was just there so the protagonists would have somebody to fight.
The sequels have higher quality writing, but some of the ideas themselves aren't great. For example the scene where Snoke dies was well done, I just don't like that Snoke died in the first place.
