Isn't that pretty much true of every centerpiece of teams that won that many titles within a decade? People talk about the greatness of the Lakers and Celtics FO's but it never overshadows the greatness of Russell, Magic, Kareem, Kobe, Bird, etc.

That's the thing though. I think it DOES overshadow Duncan's greatness sometimes. Those other guys are super popular and had personalities that fans loved (well, Kareem is a lil' different) and Duncan is already overlooked because of his style of play and deadpan look. I'm talking about from a casual perspective, by the way.

Aside from Robert Horry for a few games who the fukk outside of their big 3 played a big role in them winning titles
