i always preferred spidey vs. doc ock combination over any other possible combination. i think it's because the first spidey comic i got had ock as the villian. so, i'm partial to spiderman 2. i prefer andrew garfield over tobey maguire though

Anyway by some stroke of luck I grew up reading reprints of Spiderman vs green goblin, so I knew about the bitter hatred Peter and Norman had for each other, that was new for me, well up until I started giving batman comics a chance and realized how I underrated the joker, to me then he was just a clown who couldn't fight and I would wonder how he was a problem for bats, whereas Osborn was taking all kinds of serums and experiments on himself turning him into more of a monster than man in order to make Peters life miserable

No Tobey Maguire was a great start.
Much better fight choreography and cinematics.
Spider-Man that actually behaves like Spider-Man.
It was the shyt, imo. Never understood the hate ASM2 got.
