Just finished Kennedy & Heidi again on my rewatch. To me the show always kind of ends with you know who dying here.

Not to take anything away from the final 3 episodes, which are pretty much perfect - but since first watch I always gravitated to Chris the most :mjcry:

Except for CHASING IT (by far my least favorite episode of the entire series), 6B is perfect and second only to S2 for me.
Chasing it felt very outta place in 6B. you aint the only one that wasn't feeling it.

Same he is my favorite character. What's wild is it is hard to put a finger on why. It may be he was the youngest in the crew so I related to him more, it could be some sympathy/pity for the situation he was born into. He didn't have a lot choices and felt trapped by the life. He kinda tried to get out but his demons got the better of him or it could just be M. Imperioli is a great actor that gave such a good performance I felt sympathy for a scum bag mobster. He also low key has the most funniest lines in the show. lol

I thought it fit well within 6B just off how much it showcased Tony for who he really was by that point. The whole Hesh situation, the brutal argument at home with Carm, and Bobby basically gives the go-ahead to offing Hesh and when I look back at Soprano Home Movies when he got his first kill, it just further solidifies how much Tony corrupted this guy.

I like the storybeats, I just find the execution awful. Honestly even the acting is off, GOATdolfini just doesn't sell it when he screams "we're golden!", which I know is a reference to a classic movie.

Then there's the shaky cam for the majority of the episode. Syl repetitively egging Tony on ("you gotta do that"). The shower scene etc.

There's only 3 episodes I flat out dislike, and this one ranks the worst for me.

Fyi the other ones I don't fukk with:

- Irregular Around the Margins: that whole Tony/Adriana shyt really came too close to lazy writing for me.
- In Camelot: Johnny's mistress just annoys the fukk out of me. I know it's kind of intentional and it shows, adding to my points earlier, how blind Tony is to his fathers shortcomings..but something about every scene he has with her just grosses me the fukk out :russ:

Other then these 3 I legit enjoy every episode, even Johnny Cakes :dame:

Not gonna lie, I didn’t think much of this episode either when I first watched it. The shaky cam made me feel as if I was borderline sea-sick on a boat. I found just about everything Tony and his crew did in this one straight-up deplorable, and it wasn’t like the other episodes where a joke was said afterwards to lighten up the mood.

In absence of those laughs, I’m feeling the stress of a man who’s battling the death of Johnny Sack, someone whose “nephew” despises him behind his back, and who was on the cusp of death after being shot by his own uncle. This life…is not good.

The stretch of episodes in S6B felt like the decomposition of a world they spent six seasons building and it wasn’t a good feeling for me. I like ‘Chasing It’ more now for the reasons mentioned in the previous post mainly, but damn it’s not pleasant to watch.

I know that very look Tone made at the end. :mjlol: Same look I made when I saw one of my go-to pornstars without makeup for the first time in that one JBO thread. :scusthov:
