That 1st argument between Carm and Tony was :whoo:
Aint gon lie i felt all of carmellas's pain and hurt She was in her bag more than usual. :to:
Then they kicked it up a notch in their second fight my goodness :whew:
Tony's facial expressions the man portrayed evil. You could see the :demonic: in him fighting to come out. The anger and rage when she was waxing poetic about Furio :wow:

This episode is a master class in acting taught by Eddie and James r.i.p
Brilliant
Edie Falco looked like a deer in the headlights when the interviewer brought that whole scene up during the Today Show reunion lol. All she remembers are the punches in the wall by Tone. Incredible sequence in my favorite season and she definitely deserved the Emmy win.

Did they say if him punching the wall was in the script. I’ve heard from multiple cast members James would do something physical that wasn’t in the script from time to time.

Yeah Edie said she thought he wasn’t supposed to punch the wall during that scene
Yea I just rewatched the scene and you can definitely see in edies face a look of where the fukk is he going with this. It’s such a well written scene too though on top of the acting you can see after carmellas realizes she can’t get her point across to tony she just wants to hurt him as much as she can.

The way she regained her composure, reset, and just delivered those lines afterwards on the fly like that was pretty clutch. She could’ve easily screamed when James charged at her and punched those walls, but didn’t.

Episodes like that and Whoever Did This makes pushing through the heaviness of S4 that much more worth it.

That’s what I was thinking it’s almost like she was thinking I know I said some harsh shyt if he hits me he hits me. Then he punches the wall she realizes she’s physically safe regains her composure and gets right back in the argument.

That mini adrenaline rush must’ve felt wild. She said she had her “Edie Moment” from the moment James went off script with that move. It ended up working in everyone’s favor in the end lol.

Those two had another similar argument, while not on the level of Whitecaps, in ‘Chasing It’ when Tone practically throws the spec house dream in her face. Dude looked monstrous as fukk the way he moved through the house in that robe. I still believe no other protagonist can surpass the heat of S6 Tony Soprano.

Oh yea I remember that I went from being annoyed pretty much the whole series at Carmela always having a plan to make money straight to feeling sorry for her during that fight understanding this whole time she’s trying to have some self worth only to keep failing. I’m sure early on in the marriage Carmela felt like if she had to provide she could have but towards the end of the series she starts to realize how much she really does need Tony.

Bama ass DC
You would think The Sopranos was still premiering episodes weekly with the way it’s actively talked about on here and other sites. New threads very often. Subreddit is ultra active. GOAT show.

That HBO max stimulus:blessed:
On twitter too..A lot of people realize how hilarious this show was
Never having watched it I always thought it was a dark, gritty show.
I start watching it this past month or so, this sucka is a full blown comedy.
It reminds me of Succession (only cause I watched succession 1st) in how you don't realize how funny it is cause its not listed as a comedy but its all in the writing.

Sopranos might be the GOAT show, I already wanna do a rewatch and I haven't finished watching it for the 1st time yet
